LC FOR LAURA CAMBIAGHI
With a solar smile and lilting accent typical of her native country, Laura Cambiaghi has a distinctive personality. Her love of travel was kindled at an early age, leading to a passion for languages, of which she speaks six, and a desire to explore new countries and cultures.
Luxury travel and tourism emerged as an obvious choice for her career. Laura graduated in economics from the Catholic University of Milan and holds a master’s in tourism from Bocconi University. She is a licensed tour guide and certified travel agent.
She spent the first ten years of her career in Italy, where she was involved in the start-up of significant projects, including creating one of Lombardy’s tourist boards, conceiving a high-end tour operator to promote luxury castles and villas, and developing the Italian sales and marketing office for Swiss hotel chain Mövenpick.
She has a degree in Economics issued by the Catholic University of Milan as well as a Master in Tourism issued by the Bocconi University of Milan.
Since 2008, Laura has lived in France, where she has had the pleasure of overseeing sales, marketing and communication for some of the most prestigious hotels in Paris, including the Lutetia, the Hôtel du Louvre, and the Castille.
She also headed sales development in Europe and Latin America as regional director for THE SET, an exclusive collection of hotels including the Lutetia in Paris, the Conservatorium in Amsterdam and the Hotel Café Royal in London.
Laura Cambiaghi founded LC Distinctive in 2017.
